A recent blog post on one of my favorite sites (www.growthhackers.com) listed 22 ways to improve your productivity. Not sure where you are in the “how am I doing” self-awareness game, but I am always looking for ways to get better quality through-put on my tasks.

It seems the older I get, the more I think less about brute-force and more about efficiency and productivity.  Some of these are pretty neat – some are pretty silly.  Some I feel are really really important.

Here is their list:

  1. Get a Full Night’s Rest
  2. Take Naps
  3. Eat a Banana (Or Something Like It)
  4. Double Down on Monitors
  5. Buy Some Houseplants
  6. Work By a Window
  7. Slice Up Some Lemons
  8. Control Your Temperature
  9. C’mon, Feel the (White) Noise
  10. Crank Up the (Soft) Tunes
  11. Limit Your E-mail Use
  12. Cut Off Your Social Media Addiction
  13. Don’t Try to Multi-Task
  14. Chew Some Gum
  15. Wake Up Early. Like, Really Early.
  16. Get Started
  17. Plan to Relax
  18. Track Your Time
  19. Ditch Your Perfectionism
  20. Look at Cute Animals
  21. Get Up Out of That Chair
  22. Say “No” The Right Way

So in the interest of a little passive survey for a future blog post, comment or email me which ones you do in this list.

Here are mine:  1,2,3,4,9,10,11,12,13,15,16,17,19,21,22  (15 of 22).
