“Every success story is a tale of constant adaption, revision and change. A company that stands still will soon be forgotten.” So says Richard Branson, one of my favorite startup renegades.
Today, I would like you to remove the word company from the above quote and insert the word person.
If you are ready to adapt, revise and change – then you are ready to make the startup leap.
This notion is at the heart of a startup entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur, don’t you already have a bias to change? You see something that could operate better, faster, more efficiently or effectively. This is both an internal lyand an externally directed emotion.
Are you one who sometimes draws back from change in fear or are you one of those who figure out a way to feed off of the chaos? I was faced with some change anxiety years ago and I truly think I became a real entrepreneur when I turned my brain around.
Change, don’t try to bury it – embrace it – live in it, and yield the results of that attitude.
