Including the LaunchBox Digital Pitch Day way back in January of 2011, I have now led 42 teams over 8 Pitch events.  We have done large versions (Carolina Theater as part of Paradoxos exactly 3 years ago with 500+ attendees) and small versions (<100 in the Full Frame Theater).  We have asked speakers to join us (Paul Sing of 500 Startups, Ronnie Chatterji of Duke, Scott Case of Startup America) in order to provide a larger platform for entrepreneurial discussion in the region.

In other words, we have continued to experiment with a format that best serves our TSF investments.

Last night was another proud moment as 4 CEO’s shared with the audience of investors, alumni and friends their vision and traction achieved over the last 12 weeks.

The feedback was spectacular. I cant wait to share these with you soon.

With that in mind, I have this thought post the Steve Case Rise of the Rest event which drew over 700 people to the Carolina Theater . . . .

Should TSf return to a large, community building event like we have done in the past and invite everyone in?  Your thoughts are very much appreciated and if you could simply “Comment” on the post we can get a conversation going.
