For the third year, the Cherokee-McDonough Challenge will invest in three to five high impact environmental startups. Each venture will receive:
- Hands-on mentoring from Cherokee and an Advisory Committee of experienced entrepreneurs and investors
- An opportunity to present to other investors and the public
- $20,000 in seed funding
- Office space, if needed, for three months in Raleigh
- Assistance, as appropriate, with incorporation, accounting and tax compliance
I have had the pleasure of working with these guys and if I had a startup around their specialty, I would jump in.
